David Pascht InterviewWith 2020 underway, all digital-savvy entrepreneurs are keeping a close eye on which trends will be making waves.

Staying ahead of the curve when it comes to new digital marketing advancements can mean a crucial leg up against the competition.

It takes time for entrepreneurs to educate themselves on the latest advancements and trends, that can mean the difference between success, and failure in the new year.

Today, we’re sitting down with David Pascht, a digital marketing pro and crypto enthusiast.

He’s sharing some insight into what trends he’s watching, and how you can stay ahead of the competition.

David, what is your background?

Pascht: I’m an entrepreneur at heart, and digital marketing is my playground. Over the years, I’ve honed in on my own digital marketing techniques, and it’s taken a lot of trial and error to get there. Now, I’m at a point where I want to help other people master digital marketing. In 2020, digital marketing is king when it comes to entrepreneurial endeavors. It’s not possible to survive in this landscape without knowing your stuff. That’s where I come into play.

What are some of your key platforms for digital marketing?

Pascht: The tricky thing about digital marketing is that there’s not only one aspect to master. You really have to know it all. Email marketing and Linkedin are two areas I focus on. Email marketing can be ridiculously lucrative.

And I really think that Linkedin is one platform that entrepreneurs wrongfully neglect. Part of being an entrepreneur is building your professional brand, and that’s exactly what Linkedin is for.

Aside from that, I’m of course watching Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

What are some common internet marketing mistakes you see?

Pascht: It’s easy for entrepreneurs to stumble when working through internet marketing, but I see these are really easy mistakes to avoid. Forgetting about mobile users is a huge one. Nearly everyone has a smartphone, and nearly every smartphone user is on social media. Tapping into the mobile-specific market is huge, and a game changer. But it takes time, energy, and resources to focus on mobile-first techniques.

This may mean making sure your website is mobile friendly, and works smoothly on different operating systems. And I know I already mentioned Linkedin, but it’s crucial for entrepreneurs to bolster their personal social media. You are your own brand, and it goes beyond your business or your product. If you treat your personal brand as an extension of your venture, you’re only that much more likely to find success.

What do you do to take care of your personal wellbeing?

Pascht: The world of digital marketing and crypto can be exhilarating, but also draining. It’s important for me to find an outlet outside of all that, that helps me destress and find pure enjoyment. That’s why I turned to skydiving. It’s one of the most thrilling and freeing things I’ve ever done, and I can’t get enough. Aside from that, I love to hit the water in my boat, and I’m a huge music fan. It’s important for me to unwind with my passions. It makes all of the hard work worthwhile.

What are some marketing trends you’re watching for in 2020?

Pascht: I expect purchasing through social media to really explode. You already see it a lot with Instagram. I expect that to only take off even more, and expand to other social platforms. That’s why digital marketing on these platforms will only become increasingly more important. It will continue to transition into real bonafide clients and capital. Mastering these digital marketing techniques is the way of the future, and all entrepreneurs need to jump on board. You can check out my Steemit Blog for more digital marketing and crypto insights.
