If you missed your chance to check out the conferences we highlighted during the first half of 2018, well, here’s a chance to right that wrong in the second half. Blockchain Nation, a two-day conference at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas, is shaping up to be a really cool business opportunity, especially for anyone in the blockchain industry looking for investment.

Before we get to that, though, here are the vital stats:

What: Blockchain Nation
Where: Paris Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada
When: October 9th and 10th, 2018
Tickets: Available here

Why Attend?

So what does Blockchain Nation have going for it?

First, there’s an exciting lineup of speakers that includes John McAfee. Love him or hate him, there’s no way that session is boring. But more broadly, the conference features an eclectic mix of influencers from the crypto sphere, the conventional finance industry, and global regulation and governance. Some other highlights:

  • Vinny Lingham, an investor and entrepreneur who’s the current CEO of Civic and also sits on the board of the Bitcoin Foundation.
  • Taavi Roivas, the former Prime Minister of Estonia and current vice-chair of its finance committee.
  • Andrew Filipowski, an investor and entrepreneur who’s co-founder and CEO of Fluree, co-founder and CEO of SilkRoad Equity, and co-founder of Tally Capital.

And of course, that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Network on Another Level

As with any conference, Blockchain Nation will present great networking opportunities for anyone who’s looking to expand their contacts list. But Blockchain Nation presents an additional, unique opportunity you won’t find anywhere else: the chance to pitch influential investors for up to $1 million in funding. And given the number of high-profile investors who are speaking or attending the conference, that’s an opportunity no entrepreneur should pass up.

Note: that does require a special “innovator” ticket, which grants you a five minute pitch for a panel of investors with cash to burn.

Visit Vegas…and Paris

Of course, another advantage of this Blockchain Nation conference is that it’s in Vegas, a town so famous – or perhaps notorious – for being fun that it needs no introduction.

The conference itself is happening at the posh Paris Hotel & Casino, which – even by Vegas standards – is pretty incredible. When you’re not enjoying conference content in its 53,000 square feet of meeting space, you could be lounging by the pool under the massive Eiffel Tower, sipping wine under the Arc de Triomphe, or chowing down on the tasty victuals and views served at the hotel’s cool rooftop bar and grill.

And of course, that’s not even mentioning the incredible casino and all the gambling, shows, and other entertainment to be found there.

All in all, this looks like a can’t-miss conference for anybody who’s business is blockchain – or anybody who’s looking to learn more so that they can become involved in the space. If you’re interested, don’t hesitate in grabbing a ticket: there are only a couple days of early-bird pricing left.
